After spring break and midterms and the high stress of the first half of the semester, I’ve been needing many a nap session as of late. To help me drift off into my Ultra-Chill Zone, I’ve been playing the following tracks crazy often. Maybe they can help all y’all drift into your own Ultra-Chill Zones, too?
First up is “Easy High” from Swimwear Yeah. A bizarre band name, yes, but an incredibly chill background that has me feeling like I’m drifting in the clouds.
Next is new band Vacation with “Good As New”. Pretty and smooth and perfect perfect perfect.
Lastly is Handsome Boy Modeling School with their Cat Power-featuring track, “I’ve Been Thinking”. Aside from the ultra-smooth backing track, Cat Power’s milky vocals are giving me seriously positive vibes. Not exactly a new track, but an amazing one nonetheless.
