Truer words…

[tweetmeme source=”bucentral” only_single=false]

Well, it’s another day, another bunch of bad weather coming our way. On days like these, I like to listen to “Something’s Always Wrong” by one of my favorite 90s bands, Toad the Wet Sprocket. The song itself is great in its own right, but I can’t help but look at the title and laugh, I just can’t take it too seriously. If anything, it reminds me of a couple of lines from another one of my favorite songs: “Rain falls on everyone/ The same old rain” (Raindrops + Sunshowers by the Smashing Pumpkins). That is, the weather sucks for everyone, so suck it up and laugh it off (also, come chill at BU:C between classes! It’s 10x better than walking back to your dorm and then back to another class!) . Anyways, this song is always on my “rainy day” playlist. It also happens to have a pretty funny video. Toad the Wet Sprocket is coming to Showcase Live at Patriot Place in Foxborough on April 2.
