Woo hoo it’s Thursday which means it’s the weekend! This song, off Smith Westerns sophomore LP “Dye It Blonde” is definitely the highlight of the album. Get your rocking on with this and then go check them out at The Great Scott on March 2nd!
Why Love Shack? Because that’s what BU Central is turning into this weekend with the all-new Dating Game hosted by a Professional Wingman (yea like Hitch). So come check it out and find love in a basement.
Last Friday night The Paradise put on, yet another fantastic show featuring Best Coast and Wavves. I was really just there for Wavves who played first but Best Coast absolutely blew me out of the water. The lovely Bethany Consentino put on a spell binding show with her incredible voice and guitar play. If you ever get the chance to see Best Coast, trust me it’s worth it.
I know I’ve written about this song before but I just can not stop listening to it. Off Girls EP “The Broken Dreams Club”, Alright continues to wow me with it’s guitar solo and amazing pace. I have to warn you this song will probably be on every playlist I ever post.
On Friday Wavves wowed the Paradise crowd with Green Eyes, one of their slower songs from the back of their album “King of the Beach”. You’ll be singing along to this one after just one listen.
There’s a little playlist to get your weekend started, enjoy!
