This new trio, formed from the remnants of former indie rock band Scattered Trees, has been buzzing in my headphones the last few months.
Give In, ON AN ON‘s debut album, came out at the top of the year and failed to make the critical splash it deserves. The band’s mix of retro melodies on top of whirling guitars and thumping drums creates a sound that’s positively celestial.
The combination of airy and electronic sounds brings frontman Nate Eiesland’s eerie and intriguing lyrics off the paper. Give In is definitely an album to get lost in.
