It is nearing winter break, and those who are going to be traveling home over the next week (if you haven’t gone home already) will need some music to help you along your journey. I have one song here that will do just the trick. It’s called “Elevate” by St. Lucia, a one-man band (the picture features him center left, along with his live band) from Brooklyn, NY that produces soothing electronic music.
“Elevate” opens with a refreshing beat that increases in volume and leads into Jean-Phillip Grobler’s nice, clear vocals. His voice feels like cold water splashed on your face on a hot summer day. “Elevate” is off of his debut album, When The Night.
Look out of a window when listening to this song. It could be a train, plane, or car window, I don’t really care. But listen to this song and get lost in the scenic image coupled with Jean-Phillip’s vocals. I assure you it’s worth your while. Comment with any good traveling songs that suit your fancy!
