If you haven’t heard of “The Moon Song” yet, you’ve got some catching up to do. Originally, it is sung by Karen O, the lead singer of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The Oscar nominated song first appeared in Her, a film by Spike Jonze.

Just days ago, the song was remastered with the voice of Ezra Koenig, the lead singer of Vampire Weekend. The song was written as a duet, but was only sung by Karen O, until now. This version has a few extra things, besides Koenig’s voice, such as the addition of the piano and a more polished sound.

A special three-song EP of “The Moon Song” will be available on iTunes later this week. Be sure to check it out!
